Cents per km car expense rates for 2006-07 year

Regulations have been made to prescribe the 'cents per kilometre' rates for calculating deductions for car expenses for the 2006-07 income year. The rates for non-rotary engines are:

• 0 – 1,600cc – 58c/km

• 1,601 – 2,600cc – 69c/km

• 2,601cc + - 70c/km
